Developing Your Ministry Website
It's important when creating a website for your ministry, that it not only reflects your organization's overall vision, but you make sure you have people in place to consistently manage and update your website and the flow of it’s content. Oftentimes when churches consult me for website development, the one thing they often struggle with most is it's content. Having content means taking the time to plan and write out the vision of your ministry and gain knowledge and understanding about how to project the vision of your ministry to the public. The word says in Habakkuk 2:2 "Write The Vision And Make It Plain". Not having content for your website certainly creates a lot of challenges for your web designer. Most people place that pressure on the web designer thinking that just because he/she designed the website, he/she is also responsible for it's content, but that is far from the truth. In order to keep your website successfully updated, it requires participation from all leaders, making sure that the web designer is kept up to date with fresh content and information. Knowing what strategies to have in place to move the vision of your website forward on a consistent basis, needs to be address before taking on the task of developing a website for your ministry?
